The engineering company SAM - SHIPBUILDING AND MACHINERY, earlier known as Stroje a Mechanizmy a.s., was founded in 1996.

Production in our Komárno plant started in 1898.  The plant produces the following goods: steel hulls of ships – CASCO with a GL certificate, welded and steel components for building and road machines, such as underframes, booms and transversal beams and pylons as well as it makes components for recycling machines made for ecological waste treatment.
