In the course of the privatization of the company in the year 1994, the production profile was changed considerably. In addition to vendor parts for shipbuilding, e.g. elevator shafts for passenger ships, stabilizing units, hatch covers, crane jibs, heavy and light steel constructions were offered.
With the construction of the middle part of the Elbe crossing of the motorway A 9 near Vockerode in the year 1997 – with a length of 106 m and a weight of more than 900 t – Roßlauer Schiffswerft entered into a new area of operation, the construction of heavy steel bridges.
