About

Founded byThomas A. Gillespie,  year unknown. (1852-1926). Another Gillespie company  was the T.A Gillespie Company Shell Loading Plant, which operated a shell loading and unloading company in Morgan (New Jersey). On 4 October 1918, a massive explosion left up to 100 people dead, and tens of thousand homeless. After this explosion many Gillespies in the region changed theire names to Gilspie, and the construction company dissapeared out of the records.

The main activities of construction company were pipeline- and related waterworks.
