Founded in Bordeaux in 1876, the company did some dredging projects in the Gironde (Île de Cazeau) and dredging in the Gironde and the Garonne. For the works at île de Cazeau, a cuttersuction dredger was designed which could pump dredged materials (sand, clay) directly ashore. To make this possible, a system was introduced that could regulate the water content of the mixture. This was also the first project in France that saw a floating line made of steel.
The company went bankrupt in 1890 after a disastrous project on the Brazilian coast.
