Company founded in Algeria (Oran) by the Sainrapt & Brice company, of Paris, in 1926. In 1952 it came under the control of the Fougerolle company, of Paris. The CDEM was dissolved upon Algerian independence in 1962.
Realization from its foundation of practically all the extension works of the port of Oran. From 1936 to 1946 it built the northern jetty of the harbor of Mers el Kebir, then dug underground shelters for the National Navy and built quays, still in Mers el Kebir. Works at the port of Mostaganem. 1958-1960, construction of an oil mole at the port of Oran.
