On July 27, 2023, in the city of Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod Region, the State Acceptance Commission signed an acceptance certificate for the non-self-propelled dredger "Evgeny Pleskevich", pr. 4395, building No. 1704, built by order of the FKU "Rechvodput" for the FBU "Administration of the Ob-Irtysh Inland Waterways Basin".

The construction of four non-self-propelled dredge pumps of the class of the Russian Classification Society "X O 2.0 (ice 10) A" with a capacity of 700 m 3 / hour of project 4395 is carried out in accordance with the State contract dated 26.07.2021 No. 01F / 07 - GK / 2021 as part of the implementation of activities federal project "Inland waterways" of the State program of the Russian Federation "Development of the transport system".

The general contractor is PJSC Shiprepair and Shipbuilding Corporation (Gorodets).

The project was carried out by Joint Stock Company Rostov Central Design Bureau Stapel (RCPKB Stapel).

Earlier, in 2021 - 2022. by order of FKU "Rechvodput" under two State contracts, the General Contractor built and handed over to operating organizations 3 units: under the State contract dated 16.05.2019 No. 01F / 05 - GK / 2019 page No. 1701 "Arkady Kardakov" for the FBU "Administration" Kamvodput "; under the State contract dated 07.07.2020 No. 02F / 07 - GK / 2020 line No. 1702 "Donskoy-701" for FBU "Administration" Volgo-Don "; building No. 1703 "Severo-Dvinsky-701" for FBU "Administration" Sevvodput ".

The dredger is designed for the development of sandy, silty and sandy-gravel soils by the scow-refuller method, dredging in the water areas and shipping routes, alluvial dams, with the possibility of issuing soil into the scows, as well as through a floating slurry pipeline up to 500 m long and an onshore slurry pipeline up to 100 m long .

The key function is dredging aimed at extension of the navigation period, according to the Transport Ministry of the Altay Territory.

The non-self-propelled dredger has been acquired for the region at the expense of federal funds for the first time from 1980. It costs over RUB 1 billion ($10.3 million).

The dredger is named after Yevgeny Pleskevich, an honored river industry worker of the Russian Federation.
