About this equipment

411 grt / 178 nrt /O.N.:180391 

Original builty as general cargo coaster "CHAT 48" and renamed "FABRIC 45"  and "EMPIRE FARRIER" before launch. She was one of the "ËMPIRE" class ships ("F" - type),  these were special built ships, or seized by the Ministry of War). After the war she was sold to various ownes under various names.

In 1956 she was bought by South Coast Shipping in Southampton ( Now part of CEMEX Marine Ltd) and converted into a TSHD, renamed SAND DIVER.

09/09/1966 she arrived at Grays for breaking by T. W. Ward Ltd.
