About this equipment

rriving P. and J. McCann's harbour near Toomebridge 22-10-1997. 
The bottom doors were opened soon afterwards, and the sand pumped ashore via the former Kelly barge, JK 16.
The following details were obtained from Peter McCann.
Certificate of British Registry, dated 11-11-1954 - 
Built 1954 as a dumb barge by W. J. Yarwood and Sons Ltd., Northwich. O.N. 182815. 
Number, year and port of registry 01-1954 Preston. 
117.25 under deck, 121.58 gross, 93.14 register. 95.0 x 22.1 feet, decimal.
Owners – The Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of the County Borough of Preston.
On the back of the certificate are the following three entries:-
To Pounds Marine Shipping Ltd., Havant, Hants.
To Carmet Tug Company Ltd., Bebington.
To Northern Ireland Fishery Harbour Authority, Downpatrick.
H.M. Custom & Excise, Preston, all dated 07-10-1980.
Bill of Sale, dated 11-07-1986 -
Two 42hp outboard motors.
