About this equipment

On May 23 1956, Dredge No 6 capsized and sank in Lake Michigan about six and one-half miles southeast of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The dredger was on tow to  Milwakee Harbour to seek shelter for an approaching storm. 9 crew lost their lives.
