From Bristol Museums:
"As far as known, BD5 was always a grab dredger with a Priestman crane, originally on a pontoon dating back before 1877. Potentially Walkers built a replacement for the pontoon although all the images of her show a distinctly elderly looking wooden hull, even after the steam crane was replaced by a diesel in 1960!"
