In 1969 the VEB Deutsche Seebaggerei (DSB) and the Lotsen-, Bugsier- und Bergungsdienst (LBB) were merged into the new company VEB Bagger-, Bugsier-und Bergungsreederei (BBB).
BBB was part of the Dutch company Jan-Zwagerman Group from 1992 untill 1994, when the company went broke.
The company Fariplay Schleppdampfschiffs-Reederei Richard Borchard GmbH from Hamburg, Germany, bought the pilot and Towing section and is still active.
