About this equipment
The Vox Ariane and Vox Apolonia and Vox Alexia are currently being built in Singapore. The LNG trailing suction hopper dredgers will replace existing ships and fit within Van Oord's ambition to modernize the fleet and make it more energy efficient. The ships will all be equipped with a suction pipe with electrically driven submersible dredge pumps, two inboard dredge pumps, five bottom doors and a total installed power of 14,500 kW.
