About this equipment

Portuguese grab hopper dredger PLUTÃO, middle 60's built by Companhia União Fabril (AGPL shipyard), Lisbon, as a lighter; 1972 PLUTÃO, Socarmar, Lisbon; 1987 sold to River Douro interests, who converted her as an engined dredger to work in river Douro. Still in service.
Seen berthed alongside with another lighter near Entre-os-Rios, river Douro, 1987
