The Oregon was built by Bauer Dredging Company in 1965 and rebuilt in 1979 by Northwest Marine Iron works, Inc. The Oregon performs dredging in the Lower Columbia and the Lower Willamette Rivers and is capable of handling 2000 to 3000 cubic yards of dredged material per hour.
