About this equipment

The "Sangsue" was built in 1925 in Germany, and handed over to the French under the WWI Reparation Scheme. She was initially managed by the Ponts et Chaussees de Boulogne, and later by the Ponts et Chaussees de Nantes. In 1957 she underwent a major overhaul of her dredging installation.

1963 the ship was sold to Ponts et Chaussées de Bayonne, and was scrapped in 1974.
