Specially constructed for the harbour improvment at Pernambuco. The Steamer is fitted with a powerful steam crane, which will lift 30 tons at a sweep of 44 ft radius and place in vessels hold or hopper. Lobnitz's 8-ton rock cutter is also fitted for breaking and displacing the rock and a Priestman's grab for lifting the broken rock and placing it in the hopper"
