About this equipment

Built for South Coast Shipping Ltd. from Southampton. Because of take overs over the years, the dredger was subsequently owned by Penfolds (builders and Merchants) 1964), Seaborne Aggregate Co. Ltd (1966), Amey Aggregates (1969), and finally A.R.C. Marine (1973) all from Southampton. In 1973 she was renamed "Arco Dart".

In 1963 a new main engine was installed: Dorma, 4SCSA 6 cyl (273x305mm), 720 BHP

In 1978  she was sold to Greece, (Marisant Ltd. and Rafina Ltd) and renamed Irina (1978), Skorpios (1985) and Irina again  (2011)

At present she still sails for Rafina EN from  Pireaus.
